The Meal of Brain is Learning Outside

Learning is not only about sitting in the room and listening to the teacher, but also looking around. Nowadays, everyone who wants to get the bright future through their best passion is still stuck in choosing conventional learning such as a formal school. It is good place where everyone will get many knowledge and experience to achieve their future, but I believe that learning outside is essential in our life. According to Elaine B Johnson, the meal of brain is the outside world. It means that outside is a place where supply the big input of knowledge. We might forget that learning outside is important for us to know more rather than in the room. That is why I do believe that learning outside is the meal of brain. What brought about this? Rather, I would argue this for three reasons which things are more about what we look, listen, and feel. Firstly, through learning outside everyone will train their critical thinking. Secondly, it nurtures our creativity and imagination. For the last but not least, learning outside provides the real fact of how life is like. I believe those reasons are strong case discussed to take learning outside.

Everyone can train their critical thinking through learning outside. As we know, if someone wants to be critical person, they need many things to be thought in around. Looking around makes our thinking is trained to think deeply, such as why the problem comes up, and how it can happen and what solution of the problem. These problems become an important question to build our critical thinking. It infers that we use our brainstorming when we look everything happens. Moreover, the outside provides many things to be thought from some views. From learning outside, we can also analyze and interpret every problem immediately. Furthermore, we need to master our critical thinking trough learning outside.

Learning outside nurtures our creativity and imagination. We can look the reality in classroom. Learning in the classroom limits the creativity and imagination. It is not good for learning process itself. The opposite state that we can get interested in something we found outside in a place where can increase our creativity. Besides that, the outside provide us anything we need to be learnt. We can learn anything and make our best thinking of creativity and imagination. The last one, we are free to explore anything in the outside. We also can bring our minds to an end with some creative results no matter what we will learn about. Therefore, the outside world contributes new things such as creativity and imagination which can be learnt and stabilized. Having outside gives the meal to our brain directly.

Learning outside provides the real fact of how life is like. We realize that everyone has their story in life. What caused about it become reasons. First of all, there is different experience they went through; consequently, we can learn about it in the outside directly. Moreover, we will understand how to choose a gold lesson from every person’s life. What we met, listened, and felt when we go outside has worth things. We also will receive a feedback whether it is good or not. For these reasons, we are not only aware of ourselves but also surroundings people. As when we are surrounded by real life, there is every inducement to express what a beautiful life thoughts by learning. That is why learning outside can help us to bring around about “this is our life.”

All things considered, learning outside is significant for us to give our brain meal instead of taking learning in the room. Learning outside changes our thoughts to be critical thinking. It means that we built our brain to think immediately. What is more, it will help us to keep understanding of something by looking the object immediately in the nature; thus, our creativity and imagination will be built. Learning outside indicates us the real fact of life which also means that we learn anything in the outside. Wherever we are, we can take ourselves in everywhere to learn more and more. It is related with Chinese proverb that states “Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere,” so let us get started to learn outside.
